Prairie Heights will perform Disney’s Beauty and the Beast at the Prairie Heights Brice G. Diehl Auditorium on May 4th, 5th, & 6th (entrance #6 on the high school campus). The Friday and Saturday shows will start at 7:30 p.m., with the Sunday show starting at 3 p.m. Doors for seating will open roughly 30-40 minutes before the show starts.Disney’s Beauty and the Beast is the season finale, and incorporates both the high school and middle school theatre programs. This final show caps off a season end of a year of shows dedicated to the late Mrs. Kristy Campbell. Earlier in the year, the newly renovated stage was dedicated in Campbell’s honor, and the governor’s office named her a Distinguished Hoosier. This show and the others that preceded it during the year were among her favorites during her time as a director from 1978-2004 (Sheila check dated).A tale as old as time, this Disney classic will be brought to life by our cast, lead by Karisma Peck as Belle and Ashton Reed as the Beast. Audiences will hear classics such as “Be Our Guest”, sung by John Claudy, who plays Lumiere, and the beloved theme song, “Beauty and the Beast”, sung by Moriah Foley, who plays as Mrs. Potts.
